Faroe Islands are located between the Norwegian Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, approximately halfway between Scotland and Iceland. The Faroe Islands are a part of the Kingdom of Denmark, along with Denmark proper and Greenland. 2009 population estimate is 49 thousand.
ABC Children's Aid Faroe Islands
ABC Faroe Islands was launched in november 2006. The goal is to provide underprivileged children permanent help by providing education, food and medical health. ABC always aims to help in such a way that enables people to become self sustainable. The first project is to build a school close to the city of Monrovia, capital of Liberia. When finished, this building will room 2000 students.
The school project in Liberia has several steps involved: buying land, building a road, building homes for the children plus the school building.
One of the first things done in the new land was building a water well.
